Security alert Belfast

A number of houses have been evacuated due to a security alert in south Belfast.

The PSNI said a suspicious object has been discovered on the Ormeau Road.

British Army bomb disposal officers have arrived at the scene, and the road has been closed between Stranmillis embankment and University Street.
