Man injured in Drogheda road accident dies

A man who was seriously injured in a road accident in Drogheda during the week has died.

Stephen Mc Donagh was hit by a car in the John street area of the town at around midday on Thursday.

The 39-year-old was initially taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, but lost his fight for life overnight.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 041 9838777.
