Woman arrested in Christy Keane probe

A woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting of Christy Keane in Limerick.

54-year-old Keane remains in a stable condition in hospital following the attack on Monday morning.

A woman in her mid 20's was arrested this evening as part of Garda investigations into the incident and is being questioned at Roxboro Road Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

A man arrested connection with the shooting on Tuesday remains in custody at Henry Street Garda Station in the city, under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
