Fixed Charge Notices to be extended to cyclists

Fixed Charge Notices will be introduced for cyclists, for offences such as breaking a red light and cycling without reasonable care.

Gardaí will be able to issue fines for seven road traffic offences, the fixed charge for these fines will be €40.
