Berkeley balcony passed 2014 inspection

The balcony in Berkeley which collapsed last month – killing six students – passed an inspection less than a year ago, according to reports.

In a story carried today by the LA Times, details of an inspection carried out in August 2014 reported the balcony supports as being in "good" condition.
