Mayor of Cork resigns from Fianna Fáil

The Mayor of Cork has resigned from Fianna Fáil, in order to run for the Dáil as an independent.

Alan Coleman's resignation came after he withdrew from the selection convention to run for Fianna Fáil in Cork South West.
