Cocaine seized in Mullingar

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 has been seized in Mullingar.

Gardaí on uniform patrol on the M6 discovered the drugs when they stopped a car at around 2.30pm today.

The 50-year-old female driver of the car was arrested and taken to Mullingar Garda station.
