Jail for Tipperary man who sexually abused girl for almost a decade

A Tipperary man who raped and sexually abused a girl for almost a decade from 1994 has been jailed for 12 years.

Gardaí interviewed 53-year-old Michael Smith, who is originally from Clonmel, about the abuse in 2004, after a video emerged of him raping her when she was 11.
