Cavan child minder denies causing serious harm to 10-month-old baby

A Cavan child minder has pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing serious harm to a 10-month-old baby.

Sandra Higgins (aged 34) of The Beeches, Drumgola Wood in Cavan town, is going on trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court accused of intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to the baby at her home on March 28, 2012.
