Two killed in overnight road accidents
A man and a woman have been killed in separate road accidents in counties Wexford and Kilkenny overnight.
A female pedestrian died after she was struck by a car on the N25 Wexford to Rosslare road at Kellystown, Drinagh at about 1.30am this morning.
The driver, a 21-year-old male and the sole occupant of the car, was uninjured in the collision.
The road is closed and diversions are in place.

A 22-year-old man was killed when his car crashed into a ditch on the N25 at Gaulstown, Glenmore just outside Waterford city at around 3am this morning.
He was rushed to Waterford General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The road is closed between Glenmore and Slieverue for a forensic examination.
