Education and Training Board to take over two new schools
Education and Training Boards Ireland has been selected to manage two new schools in Cork and Wicklow.
The primary schools are due to open in September due to growing populations in Carrigtohill and Greystones.
The Cork unit will be multi-denominational while the Greystone facility will serve as an ETB school for Wicklow and Kildare.
The ETB says the move is in response to recent surveys of parents on school patronage and aims to serve the needs of the community in both areas.
