Man dies after being struck by lorry in Mayo

A man in his 50s has died after being knocked down by a lorry in Co Mayo this morning.

It happened in Knockmore near Ballina at around 9.20am.

The road between Shraheen school and Knockmore remains closed for a forensic examination and diversions are in place.
