Senator Averil Power resigns from 'cynical and cowardly' Fianna Fáil

Senator Averil Power has resigned from Fianna Fáil, saying Micheál Martin has become "a leader without any followers".

Earlier, Senator Power texted journalists informing them that she was making a major personal and political statement on the Dail plinth at 12 noon.
