Waters: Referendum result 'catastrophic' for Ireland

John Waters of First Families First, says the result of the Marriage Equality Referendum is "catastrophic" for Irish society.
The journalist, who had campaigned for a No vote in the referendum, said he got involved reluctantly in the campaign, after what happened last year when he took part in a TV show discussion with Panti Bliss.
He said: "Not just the gay, LGBT lobby, but virtually the entire journalistic fraternity turned on me and tried to basically peck me to death.
"Now I really didn't want to impose anymore of this grief on my family, but I did feel that nobody was making a particular argument.
"I thought 'there is a gap there, there is a point to be made'."
