Taxi driver's intervention stopped more serious assault on woman on crutch, say gardaí

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Blanchardstown, west Dublin, in the early hours of yesterday.

A woman in her late 30s who was walking with a crutch was out with her dog on Blakestown Way just before the N3 flyover at around 2.30am.
