Gardaí investigate today's water charge protests
Gardaí have launched investigations into two incidents at anti water charges protests in Waterford and Dublin today.
A woman is understood to have been injured in a protest in the Glencairn Dale area of Lepoardstown this afternoon, however it is understood that she received treatment at the scene.
While five people have been released without charge following an incident at Water Protest in Waterford earlier.
The two men and three women had been arrested under the Water Services Act for obstructing the work of water service employees in the Bishop's Field area.
A file will be prepared for the DPP.
