Thundery downpours at least until tomorrow morning

The first bank holiday weekend of the summer is turning out very wet, with heavy rain and thundery downpours forecast for most areas.

A status yellow weather warning is in place with accumulations of 30mm of rain expected, particularly in the west and north.
