Gardaí name man stabbed to death at Limerick house party

A former mayor of Limerick has appealed for calm after a man was stabbed to death at a house in the county last night.

Shane Murphy, 31, of Lee Estate, Island Road, Limerick City, was discovered at a house at The Grove housing estate in Pallasgreen, 22km from his home address.
