TV presenter and ex-hurler star in Darkness Into Light promotion

A video has been released online to mark this year’s Pieta House fundraiser, Darkness Into Light.

It features Ryan Mangan, a spoken word poet from Galway, reading his poem, Pitchfork Branches, which details his experiences with depression.

Voice of Ireland presenter Eoghan McDermott and former Cork hurler Conor Cusack can also be seen in the footage reciting Ryan's poem.

The Darkness Into Light fundraiser takes place on May 9 at 80 venues across the country.
