Comptroller & Auditor General 'does not have legal powers to investigate SiteServ sale'

Tánaiste Joan Burton has indicated that she would be open to changing the law to allow the State's spending watchdog and the Public Accounts Committee to examine the sale of Siteserv.

The Government is under increasing pressure over the former Anglo Irish Bank's deal to sell the company to Denis O'Brien's Millington - at a loss to the taxpayer of over €100m.
