Women in Media event set to began in Co Kerry

Female journalists and broadcasters are being celebrated in Co Kerry this weekend.

Former Tánaiste Mary Harney is opening third annual Women in Media event in Ballybunion today.

The event features talks and panel discussions on broadcasting, politics, and online media.

The Mary Cummins Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Media will also be presented tonight.
