Man dies in Tipperary crash

A 32-year-old man has died after his motorbike crashed on the Nenagh by-pass in Co Tipperary.

It happened at about 9.20pm last night between the Tullaheady and Portroe roundabouts on the N52.

He was pronounced dead at scene and his body has been removed to the mortuary in Limerick, where a post mortem is expected to take place later today.

A stretch of the N52 is closed for a forensic examination and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them in Nenagh.
