Oireachtas committee to discuss insurance issues for flood prone areas

The Oireachtas Finance Committee will examine the issues around insurance in flood prone areas when it meets later.

It will discuss the difficulties faced by home owners in the Midlands and West as well as areas like Cork city that have suffered severe damage to their properties as a result of extreme weather in recent years.
