Cork man shares story of the local garda who talked him out of suicide

A Cork man who contemplated suicide yesterday took to the airwaves this morning to thank the garda who saved his life.

The man, identified only as Daniel, said he was "ten seconds" from attempting to kill himself before Garda Karen Ring approached him to talk through his issues.
