Man arrested over toddler hit-and-run death released without charge

A man arrested over a fatal hit-and-run in Dublin on Monday has been released without charge.

A two-year-old girl was knocked down on the North Road in the Phoenix Park at around 6.30pm on Monday.

She died yesterday morning at Temple Street Children's Hospital.

A 24-year-old man who was arrested shortly after the incident was released from custody last night and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
