Trade union welcome collective bargaining legislation
Mandate trade union says the government's commitment to enact collective bargaining legislation within months is 'better late than never'.
Junior Minister Ged Nash has written to the union to assure them it will be implemented by mid 2015.
It comes after thousands of Dunnes Stores workers yesterday held a picket outside 109 shops around the country.
They say management have refused to engage with them through their union.
Mandate Assistant General Secretary Gerry Light says this legislation is long overdue.
