Man dies in Meath car accident

One person has been killed in a crash in County Meath overnight.

The single-vehicle incident happened on the main Drumconrath to Kingscourt road at 12.50am.

Gardaí say a male died in the collision, his age is not yet known.

The road is closed and a forensic investigation will take place at the scene later this morning.
