Visits restricted at Tallaght Hospital due to flu outbreak

Visiting restrictions are in place at at Tallaght Hospital in Dublin due to an outbreak of flu.

The hospital is urging members of the public to avoid visiting unless absolutely necessary and no children are allowed to visit either the adult or Children's Hospital.

Patients attending the hospital for out-patient appointments are advised to have confirmation of their appointment on arrival.

These restrictions will be reviewed again on Monday afternoon.
