A 27-year-old man is due to go on trial today charged with the murder of a Cork man whose body was found in a refuse chute in an apartment block.
David O'Loughlin - who is from the City Gate Apartments in Cork - is charged with the murder of 59-year-old Liam Manley in the apartment complex on North Main Street, on May 12, 2013.
Mr Manley's body was found in a refuse chute the following day by a maintenance man who went to clear rubbish from it.
A jury is expected to be sworn in this morning for David O'Loughlin's trial at the Central Criminal Court sitting at the Washington Street Courthouse.
