Pair taken to hospital after Dublin shooting

A man and a woman - believed to be aged in their 20s - have been taken to hospital following a shooting in Dublin.

It happened shortly before 9.30pm tonight in Clondalkin.

It's understood the woman is receiving treatment for injuries to her arm while the man is being treated for injuries to his stomach.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Gardaí have cordoned off the area while they examine the scene.
