Girl, 13, dies in Derry car crash

A 13-year-old girl has died following a crash in Co Derry.

The two-vehicle collision in Glenshane Road happened at around 5pm yesterday.

The girl was from the Redcastle area of Co Donegal.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The road was closed at its junction with the Tamnaherin Road and Tirbracken Road for a long period after the crash but has since reopened.
