Gardai are to carry out "further inquiries" into the discovery of a man's body in Tipperary yesterday.

A post mortem carried out on the man's body by the State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy has concluded. However, Gardaí are not releasing details of her findings.

A Garda forensic team is continuing to examine the house on McDonagh Street in Nenagh where the man's body was found at around 6pm yesterday evening.

The 36-year old, who is originally from Poland, was discovered with a number of wounds to his stomach in a shower inside the house.
