Dwyer’s sister gives evidence in Elaine O'Hara trial

Graham Dwyer’s sister has given evidence in her brother’s trial.

Mr Dwyer is charged with Ms O’Hara’s murder at Killakee, Rathfarnham on August 22, 2012, hours after she was discharged from a mental health hospital.

The Cork-born father of three of Kerrymount Close, Foxrock, Dublin has pleaded not guilty to murdering the 36-year-old childcare worker on that date.

Mandy Wroblewski was the third prosecution witness called on Day 20 of her brother’s murder trial.

She was asked about an 083 number that the jury previously heard was used to text Elaine O’Hara in the lead up to her death.

She said she didn’t recognise the number and was then asked if it would have been common for her to receive communication by post from him.

She said she would receive birthday cards for herself, her husband and their children.

In her statement to Gardaí, she said he would often write down her address as Oak Lawn or just Oak instead of Oak Park.

Day 15 of the trial heard about the purchase of a phone by somebody called Goroon Caisholm who gave an address at: Oak Lawn, Clerihan, Co. Tipperary.

She finished her evidence by telling the court she did not know anybody by that name and that she did not recognise the first line of the address as being in her area.
