Dublin motorcyclist dies in road accident

A motorcyclist has died after a collision in Dublin today.

It happened on Carysfort Avenue in Blackrock at around 5.20pm this evening when his motorbike hit a parked car.

The 36-year-old was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Garda forensic collision investigators have carried out an examination at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Blackrock garda station.
