Campaign warns women of dangers of abusive relationships

Women's Aid is launching a new public awareness campaign today, reminding young women of the dangers of dating abuse.

One in five women in Ireland experience abuse in relationships - 60% who had experienced severe abuse in intimate relationships had first encountered it when they were under 25.

The campaign is aimed at women aged between 18 and 25 and highlights abusive and controlling behaviour in relationships.

The '2in2u' campaign helps young women to spot the danger signs of dating abuse and provides information to combat online stalking and abuse.
