€8m project to create 200 jobs in Nenagh

Two hundred jobs are to be created by an €8m redevelopment project in Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

The money is being invested in a five-acre site, with plans to construct retail outlets and a health care centre.

The site, where the vacant Nenagh Shopping Centre currently stands, has been bought by local businessman Martin Healy.

Zest Health Care, which has operations in Mallow Co Cork, are understood to be in negotiations to role out a similar practice as part of the plans.
