Man who survived concentration camp from age 9 to speak in Waterford today

A holocaust survivor is speaking at Waterford Institute of Technology at 11am today.

Tomi Reichental was awarded Ireland's International Person of the Year 2014.

Tomi was just nine years old when he was taken to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, run by the Nazis.

Some 35 members of his family died in the holocaust.

Tomi has lived in Ireland since 1959 and he and his wife have raised three sons here.
