Former Fianna Fáil TD to run for Sinn Féin

Former Fianna Fail Dáil Deputy, Councillor Chris Andrews, will run for Sinn Fein in the Dublin Bay South constituency in the general election.

He was selected at a Sinn Fein party convention in Dublin last night.

He previously served as a Fianna Fáil TD for the Dublin South East constituency from 2007 to 2011 but in September 2013 he joined Sinn Féin.

Councillor Andrews is the grandson of Todd Andrews, a leading member of Fianna Fail during its early years.
