Primary schools to be issued with resource to deal with homophobic bullying

Primary schools are to be provided with a new resource to help teachers tackle homophobic and transphobic bullying.

It is the result of a joint effort by the Irish National Teachers Organisation, their LGBT Teachers' Group and the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network.

The resource explains how to deal with the issue of this kind of bullying in an age-appropriate way.
