Garda Air Support Unit summoned after burglary at service station

Gardaí investigating a burglary at a service station in Donabate, Co Dublin last night have arrested four men.

The men, all aged in their 20s, are currently detained at Swords and Coolock Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardaí responded to a report of a burglary on Hearse Road, Donabate and that a dark-coloured saloon car with four men on board had left the scene travelling in the direction of Swords.

An operation was put in place by local Gardaí assisted by Traffic, Detective and Air Support Units.

Four men were arrested a short time later in the Donabate area. A quantity of cash and other property was recovered.
