Union warns of industrial action at AIB

The trade union Unite has written to Finance Minister Michael Noonan warning of possible industrial action at AIB.

The union said their disagreement with the bank centres on the pension arrangements for over 200 former EBS staff, who are now employed by AIB.

It claims AIB has failed to honour an agreement which would have seen the employer increasing its contributions to staff pensions.
