Kenny: No blasphemy law referendum in 2015
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is insisting there will be no referendum on the blasphemy law this year.
Kenny has said he accepts the idea of holding a referendum -to remove the issue from the constitution - but it will not take place before the next election.
There have been calls for Ireland to remove the clause in response to last week's attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo.
However, the Taoiseach commented there will only be two referendums this year and blasphemy will not be one of them.
