Irish women are among the highest in Europe for lung cancer in terms of incidence and mortality, according to a recent report.

Lung cancer mortality for Ireland is 34% higher than the EU average and it accounts for 18% of cancer deaths in women, the recent report from the National Cancer Registry of Ireland has found.
