Body of boy, 2, found in Limerick

The body of a two-year-old boy has been found in Limerick.

Emergency services were called to an apartment on Parnell Street at around 4.30pm this afternoon.

The toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been taken to Limerick University Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
