Man held in Cavan stabbing case being treated in hospital

A man being held in connection with the stabbing of a woman in Co Cavan is receiving medical treatment in hospital.

The man in his 50s was arrested after Gardaí were called to a house in Kilnaleck on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.
