Recycling increases by almost a third at Christmas

Wrapping from presents and increased volumes of food stuffs contributes to 25,000 tonnes of recycling at Christmas.

That is enough paper to save a forest 200 times the size of Croke Park and enough aluminium cans to reach from Dublin to New York when lined up.
