A man has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin.

A man has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin.

Gardaí received a call that the man was in the river - between the Ha’Penny Bridge and the Millennium Bridge - shortly after 2pm today.

Emergency services attended the scene and the man was rescued from the water.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital, where his condition is unknown at this time.
