Gardaí investigating alleged sex assault on elderly woman arrest man

Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with an alleged serious sex assault of an elderly woman in Kerry.

The incident happened at Sneem on September 20.

The man, aged in his early 20s, was arrested this morning.

He is currently being held at Killarney garda station under Section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
