Three held in Cork after €40k heroin seizure

Three people remain in garda custody in Cork, after the seizure of €40,000 worth of heroin.

Gardaí made the seizure, in a hotel car park last night as part of an intelligence-led operation.

Two men and a woman, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at the scene.

They are being held at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda Stations, where they can be questioned for up to seven days.
