Weather warnings as strong winds batter Ireland

Strong winds are battering the country, with the west and north west worst hit.

Met Eireann has an orange alert in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Clare until tomorrow morning.

While there's a yellow warning for Munster, Leinster, Cavan and Roscommon.

Forecaster Eoin Sherlock says there could be gusts of up to 130 kilometres an hour.
